(4) BaO, PbO, K2O single component or total component ≥10%, density ≥2.4 g/cm3.
NF B 30-004 is also divided into lead crystal glass according to the guiding principles of EEC:
(1) 30% high crystal glass containing PbO ≥ 30%, density d ≥ 3.0g / cm3, refractive index nD ≥ 1.560;
(2) 24% crystal glass containing PbO ≥ 24%, density d ≥ 2.90g / cm3, refractive index nD ≥ 1.545.
Then divide the crystal glass into:
(1) Full Crystal PbO ≥ 24%;
(2) Crystal (Pry) PbO 10%~24%;
(3) Fine Crystal PbO 6%~10%.
Then lead crystal glass is divided into:
(1) Full lead crystal glass PbO ≥ 30%;
(2) Medium lead crystal glass PbO≥24%;
(3) Low lead crystal glass PbO ≥ 7%.
There are no national and industry standards, and the habits are divided into:
(1) High lead crystal glass PbO ≥ 30%;
(2) Medium lead crystal glass PbO≥24%
The Polish Art Center defines lead crystals as containing PbO 24% to 33%. In the EU lead crystal website, lead crystal refers to PbO of 10%~28%, density ≮2.45g/cm3, and refractive index nD≮1.520.
In Europe, it is not strictly different to distinguish all lead and medium lead crystals, including PbO24%~30% glass, which can be called full lead crystal, such as
Swarovski contains 32% PbO, which is called lead crystal.
Waterford contains 30% PbO, all lead crystals.
Baccarat and Bohemian all-lead crystals refer to 24% glass containing PbO.
However, when China's glass exports, the contract strictly requires that the lead contains PbO 24%, and the total lead contains PbO ≥ 30%. The customs needs to carry out analysis and testing. In order to meet this requirement, the lead in the manufacturing process should be considered when designing the glass composition. For the problem of volatilization, the lead composition in general contains 25% PbO, and the PbO in the lead (high lead) design component is 33%.
