Glass is such a substance.The reason for this structure is that the viscosity of the glass changes too quickly with temperature, and the crystallization rate is too slow.As the temperature drops and the crystallization begins, the viscosity becomes so large that the movement of the atoms is restricted, resulting in this effect.So, the glassy state is like a solid liquid, in which the atoms are always in the process of crystallization.

As a result, the atoms in the glass appear to be fixed in place, but there are still forces between the atoms that encourage it to rearrange itself.It's not a stable state, unlike the atomic state in paraffin.So, again, not crystals, paraffin is completely solid at room temperature, whereas glass can be thought of as a very viscous liquid.
